β Step 1: Get Your Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
Before applying, you must receive a Letter of Acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada.
Ensure the LOA mentions:
- DLI number
- Program duration
- Tuition fee details
- Start and end dates
β Step 2: Gather Your Required Documents
Here are the essential documents you need for your study permit application:
- Valid passport
- Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
- Proof of funds (bank statements, GIC, loan letter)
- Tuition fee payment receipt
- IELTS/TOEFL/PTE results (for SDS applicants)
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Passport-size photos
- Medical exam confirmation (if required)
- Previous education documents
- Any work experience documents (if applicable)
β Step 3: Take a Medical Exam (if required)
If you’re from a country that requires a medical examination for Canadian immigration, book an appointment with a panel physician approved by IRCC.
