Hand in Hand for International Talents — Applications Are Now Closed
⚠️ The Hand in Hand for International Talents programme has closed its applications as of August 2026. The closure is due to the overwhelming volume of interest and applications received from Indian professionals — far exceeding the capacity of the current pilot programme to process. The programme itself has not ended, but no new applications are being accepted at this time.
The response from Indian professionals to Germany’s first structured, government-backed, employer-funded recruitment programme was extraordinary. The sheer number of registrations received through AHK India, DIHK Service GmbH, and the Bundesagentur für Arbeit’s ZAV team made it impossible to accept further candidates into the current cycle.
For updates on when applications may reopen, monitor the official programme website at hand-in-hand-for-international-talents.de.
