What Is the NASA Space Apps Challenge?
The NASA Space Apps Challenge is a global hackathon organised by NASA.
Participants work in teams to solve real-world challenges using open data from NASA and its Space Agency Partners.
The 2026 edition is based on the theme โThe Next Frontierโ and will take place on 14 and 15 November 2026.

Yes. Participants from India can register for the 2026 challenge and choose an available Indian Local Event or participate virtually.
If there is no suitable Local Event near you, NASA also provides a virtual Universal Event.
ISRO Is a Space Agency Partner
The 2026 NASA Space Apps Challenge includes 17 Space Agency Partners.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is one of these partners.
